Last Thursday we started a new series that we're very excited about. We had our friend Helen Johannesen - the sommelier behind LA favorites Jon & Vinny's, Animal, Son of a Gun, Trois Mec, Petit Trois, and Trois Familia - led a small group in a discussion about her favorite wines of the moment in celebration of the opening of her new shop, Helen's, located in the very back of Jon & Vinny's. We had very special guest Carrie Brownstein join Helen in convo and the rest of us set up a classroom style discussion in what is just the first in a new series.
