Role:                  Wholesale Sales & Customer Service Associate
Location:           Los Angeles, CA

Overview:

We are seeking a short-term, part-time,non-exempt Wholesale Sales & Customer Service Associate who is equal parts sales professional and merchant. This position will serve as the primary liaison with our showroom to manage our majors and specialty store accounts, responsible for sell-in and sell-out strategy and execution. This role will maintain and build relationships with clients, both internal and external, to generate sales and provide support during seasonal markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day tasks of the Wholesale Sales & Customer Service Associate, including entering orders, facilitating swaps, RTV’s, completing retail requested documents and submitting via customer portals, damages, credits, invoicing, tracking, sample trafficking, UPC generation, etc.
  • Track to monthly budgets, communicating open orders and monthly invoicing projections to the Global Head of Wholesale Merchandising.
  • Manage order allocation and partner with the warehouse on receiving tracking, communicating closely with the showroom with updates and any changes, ensuring accurate shipping information.
  • Process sample requests from our Sales teams as well as other internal requests when needed.
  • Answers questions about products, price, delivery, availability of product, etc.
  • Other tasks as needed to assist merchandising, planning & wholesale team.
  • Generate Excel and Joor reports as needed.
  • Special projects as needed and as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of previous wholesale customer service and order processing experience.
  • Experience working with majors and internationals is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; additional relevant work experience can be substituted for an earned degree.
  • Familiarity with Joor is a plus.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, etc.) and MS Office products are a must.
  • Strong technological skills–ability to learn new software and automate workload.
  • Self-starter who can work under pressure and handle a high volume of calls and emails.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at one time, meeting deadlines and troubleshooting to resolve customer. issues. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize, reprioritize, and follow-through on workload in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to work with little supervision and work well with others at all levels in the organization.
  • Flexible thinker with the ability to make sound independent decisions.
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Strong customer-facing communications skills (oral & written).
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolutions competency.
  • Excellent data entry skills.
  • Positive attitude with a kind team player approach!
