Continuing our tradition—and partnership—we're thrilled to launch our latest with EMC. Born from a relationship between Clare and Christy, we've loved working with this incredible organization that helps promote and support maternal health all over the world. This holiday season, we've launched a new capsule with 100% of proceeds benefitting the organization.
To celebrate the launch and show her support, Clare ran the Golden Gate Half Marathon in San Francisco with the Every Mother Counts team, including their incredible leader Christy Turlington, shown here at our store in Hayes Valley wearing her new CV x EMC Sweatshirt. It reads Liberté, Egalité, Maternité, a play on the iconic French phrase.

With the money these runners raised, EMC's programs have the funds they need to help women all over the world reach the maternity care they need with improved transportation; support the training of skilled birth attendants, who will provide quality care to thousands of mothers and their babies; and help equip healthcare workers and facilities with electricity and critical medical supplies to keep moms—and their newborns—safe.

Reminiscing about an earlier run together in Tanzania, where Clare was lucky to not just run and raise funds, but also visit a lot of the programs that are up, running and serving in Africa.
