Since starting the line in 2008, local production and manufacturing has been a driving tenet of the brand. Working with many of the same vendors with whom she launched Clare V. is still primarily made locally in Los Angeles, using factories throughout the city. Our commitment to local manufacturing means that each and every bag passes through our warehouse for quality testing and approval, and the company is able to employ manufacturing talent throughout the city.
À Propos De Clare
A beautiful play on classic shapes, modern detail & Parisian charm, the Clare V. line continues to evolve with each new collection. Though she started with laptop cases, Clare now produces a full range of bags & accessories, including tech, travel, small leather accessories, men's, tees & shoes. While the brand has continued to grow, the line continues to be made primarily in Los Angeles since 2008.
In addition to the core collection, Clare has collaborated with brands & artists including Steven Alan, & Other Stories, artist Donald Robertson, Mike D., Sephora, Garrett Leight and Equipment, and supports an ongoing partnership with Every Mother Counts. Since opening the very first Clare V. flagship in Silverlake in 2012, additional locations have opened in Nolita, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Brooklyn, Newport Beach, San Francisco, Montecito, Brentwood, Chicago, Denver, Amagansett, and most recently, Seattle.

Nos Matériaux
Sourced in Italy and beyond from the best tanneries, our design team travels the world to find the best materials for our products. We work with local artisans in Peru to handcraft our knits & crochets, and use all parts of the hide — and scraps — when developing our bags to produce as little waste as possible.

Nos collaborateurs
One of the most exciting parts of the past 10 years has been the opportunity to partner and collaborate with inspiring designers, brands, and organizations, including artists Wallshoppe, TOMS, Garrett Leight, DEMYLEE, and The Hundreds.
CollaborationsNos Dons
Core to our mission of the company has been to find opportunities to give back to our surrounding community, on a local or even global scale. We've partnered with organizations and causes to create product that gives back, so we can give back as a company, too.
