Care Guide
Nubuck
Our Nubuck leather is brushed, unsealed, aniline-dyed Italian cowhide. We love the resulting velvety finish. This smooth surface will patina over time, darkening, and becoming increasingly soft and pliable. To reduce waste, all parts of the hide are used - slight variations in color and grain are characteristic of the natural leather and will vary from item to item. The inherent beauty of this material will continue to develop over time with use and exposure to light.
How To Care:
Susceptible to water damage, staining and color transfer
Avoid contact with water, oils, perfumes and cosmetics
A protectant spray may be used to minimize adverse reactions (we recommend Jason Markk Repel); please note that protectant sprays can slightly alter the color and texture of the leather
Nubuck leather eraser can be used to clean blemishes (avoid silk-screened jaguar spots or vinyl stripes, if present!)
Avoid storing in direct sunlight
