Choose Your Item & Monogram
If a product is monogrammable (some aren’t due to material), you’ll see an “Add a Monogram” button on the product page. Click the button, choose between Hand Painting or Gold Foil at the top, and enter the rest of your preferences. Click “Add to Bag” when you’re ready. To see all monogrammable products, click here.

Our Artists Work Their Magic
Our artists get to work on your custom monogram. Orders typically take 7 days for Gold Foil or 12 days for Hand Painting.

Your Item Ships
Once your item is finished, it's shipped to you—typically within 3 business days.
Which products can be monogrammed?
- Most of our smooth leathers, suede and nubuck can be monogrammed, and even sometimes canvas! Visit the product page of the item you're interested in and, if the item can be monogrammed, you'll see an "Add a Monogram" button to place your order with a monogram. Can I monogram my previously purchased Clare V. bag?
- Absolutely! If the item is able to be monogrammed, you can take your bag to any of our Clare V. stores or email us at info@clarev.com for assistance. Monogram pricing is based on the item and monogram of choice.
Can I request a specific design?
- We don't offer custom designs at the moment, but you can check out our beautiful font options here!
How durable is hand painted monogramming?
- We use leather-grade monogramming products which do last quite some time. The monogram will gently age and wear with your bag over time.
How long does monogramming take?
- Monogramming is a process done by local artists and requires a few extra days to complete before your order is ready. You can find an up to date timeline here or when placing your monogram order.
Can I cancel or return a personalized product?
- All personalized items are final sale and cannot be returned. If you need to cancel a monogram order, please reach out to info@clarev.com or the store where you placed your order as soon as possible and we'll do our best to assist. Once the artist begins to monogram the item, the order can no longer be cancelled.
