We reminisced with some of our favorite ladies about their magical day and asked them to share with us what made it so special. Heather Taylor is a CV favorite, and we're so obsessed with her line Heather Taylor Home that you can find it in both Clare V. locations in Silverlake and Nolita! We asked Heather, who just celebrated her third anniversary with husband Alex, to take us down marriage memory lane.
Q: What did you wear on your wedding day?
A: A Carolina Herrera dress, vintage Carolina Herrera bolero, Jimmy Choo heels, estate jewels from Claude Morady and a silver Edwardian comb alongside three white roses in my hair. And of course, my white CV clutch with a blue and white ribbon that Clare added for my "something blue."
Q: What was your favorite memory of the day?
A: When my husband and I drove from our backyard (the ceremony site) to Campanile (the reception site) to meet up with our all guests. The drive was pure magic - we were in a Mercedes convertible that my grandmother bought in 1963 and is still in my family; clouds were looming and I think it even started to lightly drizzle. We had just experienced the overwhelming moment of tying the knot with all of our friends and family baring witness. It was so nice to have that one-on-one time with him before the party got started. Reconnecting in that moment was really meaningful for me.
